J. Brant Pallasch
Brant founded Junonia in 2019 to provide a differentiated service offering to exceptional investment managers leveraging his background of more than ten years in both fund administration and in-house fund C-Suite roles.
Prior to founding Junonia, Brant was Chief Operating Officer of Strait, a high-touch fund administrator. During his tenure at Strait, Brant was a member of a leadership team that produced over 50% annualized growth. He was responsible for firm-wide operations including overseeing the hedge fund and private equity administration, investor services, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight business units.
As the former CFO of a Dallas-based hedge fund, Brant has led all aspects of fund operations and accounting, including the month-end close process, annual audit and tax return preparation, daily operational support, and management company matters.
Brant began his career at Blue River Partners, rising to Managing Director, and serving as outsourced CFO to a variety of funds. While at the firm, Brant developed an expertise in fund launches, including assisting clients with side letters and seed agreements, and streamlining fund operational processes.
For ongoing outsourced CFO clients, Brant managed operations of the back-office that included review of financial statement packages and schedules, audit and tax liaison, and treasury management. Additionally, his responsibilities included relationship management with banks, accounting firms, brokers, and other service providers.
